Mobile app development — React Native, Flutter and SwiftUI
Production mobile apps with the backend behind them — auth, payments, real-time and push — delivered end to end rather than handed off.
- MVP to store submission
- 6–10 weeks
- Shipped to date
- 7 apps
- React Native, Flutter, SwiftUI
- 3 frameworks
The problem a mobile app solves
A mobile app is rarely just a mobile app. It needs authentication, a backend, payments, push notifications, real-time updates and a release process, and the usual failure is splitting those across people who each own a piece and none of whom own the outcome.
How Dawar Mustaqeem builds a mobile app
- 01
Choose the framework honestly
React Native where you want one codebase and a large ecosystem. Flutter where UI consistency across platforms matters most. Native SwiftUI where you need deep platform features like ARKit. The use case decides, not preference.
- 02
Build the backend with it
Firebase, Supabase or Node — auth, data, storage and functions designed alongside the app rather than assumed into existence.
- 03
Real-time where it earns its place
Socket.IO, Firestore listeners or Agora RTC for live video and voice, applied where immediacy is part of the product rather than everywhere by default.
- 04
Payments and subscriptions
Stripe or in-app purchase, including the receipt validation and edge cases that make the difference between a demo and something that takes money reliably.
- 05
Release and iterate
Store submission, review handling, crash reporting and an update path that does not require a full release for every change.
What a mobile app build includes
- A shipped app on the App Store, Play Store, or both
- The backend, auth and data layer behind it
- Payments or subscriptions where the product needs them
- Push notifications and real-time features
- Crash reporting and a release process you can run

Common questions about Mobile app development
React Native, Flutter, or native — which should we use?
React Native if your team already knows TypeScript and you want the largest ecosystem. Flutter if pixel-identical UI across platforms is the priority. Native SwiftUI if you need deep platform capability such as ARKit or RealityKit. For most products with a web presence already, React Native is the pragmatic default.
How long does it take to ship an app?
A focused MVP with auth, a backend and one core feature is typically six to ten weeks to store submission. Real-time video, AR or payments each add meaningfully to that, mostly in testing rather than in building.
Do you handle App Store submission?
Yes — submission, review responses, privacy declarations and store listing assets are part of delivery. Rejections are usually about privacy disclosure or account deletion, both of which are easier to get right before submitting than after.
