KitchenSpec — 3D kitchen designer

A kitchen designer that starts from the customer’s actual walls and ends with an itemised, defensible price.

Presented under the example brand “Royal Wood Design”. KitchenSpec is my own product; the brand is illustrative, not a customer.

What is KitchenSpec?

KitchenSpec is a browser-based kitchen designer that starts from the room's actual wall lengths in millimetres and produces an itemised price across cabinets, worktop, hardware and appliances.

KitchenSpec begins with the shape of the room — single wall, L-shape, U-shape or galley — then takes wall lengths and ceiling height in millimetres and measures everything after that against them. Cabinets, worktops, hardware and appliances each contribute a line to a running total, so the price is itemised rather than a single number a customer has to trust.

What KitchenSpec does

  • Four room shapes: single wall, L-shape, U-shape and galley
  • Wall lengths and floor-to-ceiling height entered in millimetres
  • Cabinet placement measured against the room rather than a fixed template
  • Itemised pricing split across cabinets, worktop, hardware and appliances
  • Orbit, zoom and tap-a-cabinet inspection in 3D
  • Positioned as a ballpark that a showroom visit confirms — not a binding quote

How KitchenSpec is built

  • Room geometry drives cabinet layout, so changing a wall length re-measures the run rather than stretching a model
  • Price decomposition by category, which is what makes the number defensible to a customer
  • Touch-first interaction, since kitchen buyers browse on phones

Common questions about KitchenSpec

What is KitchenSpec?

KitchenSpec is a 3D kitchen designer. You choose the room shape, enter wall lengths and ceiling height in millimetres, add cabinets and worktops, and get a price that updates as you go.

Which kitchen layouts does KitchenSpec support?

Four: single wall, L-shape, U-shape and galley. Everything after the room shape is measured against the wall lengths entered, so changing a wall re-measures the run rather than stretching a model.

Is the KitchenSpec price a quote?

No — it is a ballpark generated from the customer's own design, itemised across cabinets, worktop, hardware and appliances so the number is defensible. A showroom visit confirms the final price.
