Refora — part-level 3D model editing
Generating a 3D model is easy now. Editing one precisely is not — that is the problem Refora exists for.

What is Refora?
Refora is a desktop application for editing existing 3D models at the level of individual named parts, without disturbing the geometry around them.
Refora is a desktop application for editing existing 3D models at the level of individual named parts. You select a component, set preservation targets on the dimensions and relationships that must not move, and make the revision — while everything you locked stays exactly where it was. It round-trips through GLB, carrying part names, materials and images with it.
What Refora does
- Part-aware selection — pick a named component or a group of repeated elements
- Preservation targets that lock dimensions and relationships before an edit runs
- Version history for comparing a revision against what came before
- Project context, so the intent behind an operation is reviewable
- GLB round-trip carrying geometry, part names, materials and images
- White-label licensing: branded pilot, core licence, or per-vertical sector module
How Refora is built
- Part detection and named-component resolution across imported assemblies
- Constraint preservation — the hard problem, since naive edits propagate through connected geometry
- Geometry generation that respects locked relationships rather than regenerating wholesale
- Cross-platform desktop distribution for Windows and macOS
Common questions about Refora
What does Refora do?
Refora edits an existing 3D model down to a single named part. You select a component, lock the dimensions and relationships that must not move, and make the revision — everything you locked stays exactly where it was. Models round-trip through GLB carrying part names, materials and images.
Who is Refora for?
Manufacturers and integrators who iterate on complex assemblies — trailer bodybuilders, kitchen fabricators, marine and yacht builders, architectural and industrial machinery teams, stone and worktop fabricators, and signage makers.
How is Refora licensed?
White-label, in three shapes: a branded pilot for one vertical on a one-time project fee, a core licence for the full configurator, and per-vertical sector modules. Pricing is quoted against the vertical and the quoting bottleneck it removes.

Refora is one of several configurators I build and operate. If you manufacture something with options, the same approach applies to your product line. Based in Birmingham, UK, working remotely.
